The main alloying element of 7050 aluminum plate is zinc. Adding magnesium to the alloy containing 3%-75% zinc can form MgZn2 with significant strengthening effect, making the heat treatment effect of 7050 airplane grade aluminum far better than that of aluminum-zinc binary alloy. Unlike 7075 aircraft aluminum sheet, 7050 aluminum plate T7451 and T7651 has particularly strong corrosion resistance and can be used for high-stress structures with strong corrosion resistance. The main application of 7050 aluminum sheet is the lip mouth grille of aircraft.
